The 2nd album (hence the name) of vintage material from my early, singer-songwriter guitar-playing days - this again plays on the "Nick Drake" style of "Highflyer", developing some of the themes.
This album coincided with a transition point in my life, and a move to London. I was in contact with a very talented poet (Stephen Coltin) at the time, on whose poems some of these songs are based.
As with "Highflyer", this album contains material for some themes I would later go on to re-use - most notably the themes of "Pagan", "Seven Years" and "Modern Dreams".
All of these songs/ song versions were previously unreleased; it has been my pleasure to trawl through this little piece of history and make it available!
